[R] Adjective designating any living organism favourable to Man's activities.
Beneficial organisms include natural enemies of pests, agents of biological control, natural or reared pollinators (bumble bees, bees), which pollinate numerous plants, earthworms (Lumbricids) and all animals and micro-organisms which contribute to soil fertility.
