[R] Adult (imago) of Lepidoptera; body and wings scale-covered; mouthparts forming a suctorial proboscis. Adults are not harmful. However, the detection of females before the egg-laying period by means of light traps or sex pheromones combined with traps is essential to the conduct of rational control.
