[R]Description
Adult: 2 mm long; body elongate, brown-black and lightly covered with a dark powder (*) ; base and tip of antennae brown; femora dark; tibiae yellowish; cauda black and short; siphunculi as long as cauda, black and cylindrical.

[R]Biology
A heteroecious aphid occurring in spring on the underside of leaves of pear, a migration to grasses, especially Poa and Brachypodium, taking place in the summer.

[R]Damage
Affected leaves curl around the shoot, which remains straight, and become progressively yellow.
