Adult: 1.8-2.0 mm long; yellowish-green and shiny; antennae green; siphunculi green, distinctly swollen towards the middle and reticulate towards the apex; cauda green.

A heteroecious aphid with currant and black currant as primary hosts and sowthistle (Sonchus) and lettuce as secondary hosts.

[R]Life Cycle
Migration to secondary hosts occurs in the summer.

Feeding by fundatrigeniae cause the margins of leaves of black currant and currant bush to turn downwards, the laminae becoming striped locally with yellow.
