[R]Identification
This virus may be identified by using the indicator plant Brassica campestris in which local chlorotic lesions develop.

[R]Description
The leaves have discoloured areas between the veins which contrast with darker regions.
A reduction in the size of the heads makes them unmarketable.

[R]Biology
This virus causes the formation of inclusions in infected cells.

[R]Epidemiology
The CaMV is transmitted by . There are no known cases of transmission via the seeds.
