Practical information

Every year, INRA (National Institute for Agricultural Research) seeks researchers from all disciplines to reinforce laboratory and fieldwork teams. Researchers will be heavily involved in scientific networks and tackle environmental, economic and social issues. They are expected to strive for excellence and come up with useful, concrete applications for the real world. Individual research projects will go hand in hand with group efforts in a bid to further knowledge and innovation, in order to produce sustainably, preserve the environment, and improve human nutrition.

Submission deadline for application package


The submission deadline for application packages (administrative section on paper and scientific section on CD-Rom or USB flash drive) is Tuesday 28th of February 2012, 17h (Paris time) for applications handed in directly to the INRA Head Office reception desk or midnight for applications sent by post (postmark as proof) to the following address:

The selection process


The selection process is in two rounds: shortlisting or pre-selection (admissibilité) where the selection board examines the application, and final selection (admission) where the board interviews the shortlisted candidates. For further information, please consult the guide for applicants.

Shortlisting will take place in April-May 2012 and the final selection will take place in June-July 2012.

Eligible applicants do not attend shortlisting sessions. Applicants who are shortlisted will be notified by mail of the date and venue of the final selection.
