Combinatorial optimization for computational biology

 

Educational background: PhD or equivalent. We are looking for a brilliant scientist with a PhD in computer science/artificial intelligence or operations research/applied mathematics, with an emphasis on combinatorial optimization. Any specific training or a long stay abroad, ensuring a good fluency in English is welcome. Additional experience or knowledge in computational biology and bioinformatics, stochastic modeling, combinatorial pattern matching or software development is also appreciated. The successful candidates who have not yet acquired postdoctoral training will be required to do so, preferably abroad, after their probationary period (1st year) and before being eligible for promotion to an Experienced Research Scientist position (CR1).
